A busy boy

It’s been a busy few days with photographing more for my major project. I've been using the large format camera (baby cambo). Its nice and compact which I don’t mind as I’m carrying it around different places. I do like using the large format but I did feel conscious as everyone was giving me weird looks and thinking I was a terrorist. I had one bloke even ask me how’s working for ITV and if I can shoot some footage for his business of outdoor sports. I got his business card anyways.

The weather hasn't been great these last few days but I went out anyway. Kept telling myself to man up because it was cold. On location it suspiring how fiddly the Horseman 6x9 backs can be. I shot three colour films and sent them off to spectrum today cost me £5.50 for next day delivery!! It felt like I was being robbed by the post office. Hopefully I get some nice shots and ready to scan for next week. My aim is to print out a A1 image next week too see how they look (big is better I think ha-ha).

I also did some polaroid pictures but when I was given the film it was out of date so wasn't expecting much. I like them in Black and white. My idea behind the images is for the viewer to look at the open absent space but have a sense of boundary between them and the landscape. I would like to know what you think.

Walking along the prom

Today i have been quite busy as its been such a nice day in abertawe, I needed to take some new shots along the SA1 Development, so i went along with my trusty digital camera happily shooting away. So i got to the Marriott hotel when i could see the West Brom football squad casually walking along the prom, and i could hear one say " not another photographer". I lol'd inside because i am not a pappazzi photographer or a portrait photographer i'm a landscape/fine art/documentary photographer.

I shall be heading out tomorrow, weather permitted.
